What equipment do you work with?
I record my vocals at a professional studio on ProTools 12 on an iMac. My vocals are usually tracked on a Neumann U87 Ai. At home I do sketch vocals on Logic Pro X or Reaper and make beats on Reason 11 with an AKAI MPK Mini keyboard.
I stream on an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight Core Processor PC, 3.7GHz with 16GB of installed RAM. I use the HyperX Quadcast mic for game streams.
I DJ on a Pioneer DDJ-SB3 controller with Serato Pro and MC live with a Shure SM 58 Beta, and at home with with an Audio-Technica AT2020.

Can you send me an acapella or instrumental to one of your songs?
Do your googles; If it’s not already available to the public, then probably not. If I want it out there, it’s out there. Be on the lookout for remix competitions and beats that I upload to SoundCloud or YouTube!
Can I play your music during my streams online?
Tricky. The following permissions I am about to grant are in relation to background music on Twitch and YouTube live streaming ONLY... Not online DJ sets or uploading my music to your channel.
OK. ANY music you stream MUST BE LEGALLY PURCHASED for you to play it during your stream (this does not include streaming via Spotify, Pandora, or even streaming via Bandcamp– I’d rather you buy it, okay?).
To use my music on your stream, you must credit me as Mega Ran and provide a “now playing” text with a link to purchase (megaranmusic.com) as well as links to my Twitch, Twitter (@megaran) and/or Facebook (/megaranmusic) pages.
PLEASE NOTE!
Some of my tunes (joint albums with other artists) are released in conjunction with other labels (as of this date: Maverick Hunters, 2 Hands Up, Soul Veggies, The Visitor) so these are exempt to any of these permissions. Don’t play them, or you risk problems I can’t help with.
Some songs I make are sampling other people’s works…they’re usually free downloads, and I make that clear in the descriptions… so just because I don’t have a problem with you using my music doesn’t mean they wouldn’t. Be careful.
Don’t re-upload my song if it’s already on YouTube. That’s annoying.
