Mega Ran Meets Bomb Man.
2007. Seems like a lifetime ago, but I remember it well: the day I was browsing a now-defunct website called Atomic Fire, and listening to lo-fi MP3s of the Mega Man soundtracks, and got the idea to sample them and put some raps over them. I don’t know what I was thinking, but I do remember being scared of the idea, but I just knew if we could have fun with it, it’d work out fine.
Boy was I underestimating things. Here we are 5 years later, and that kooky project has gotten me into places I never thought I’d be in my lifetime. I’m amazed and humbled, so it’s only right to give back one more time. I’m happy to present to you guys my tribute, redone and remastered. This is the 2nd leak from the project, “Take Your Turn” which samples Bombman’s stage, a theme that gets stuck in head a lot, but was never used on the initial project. Enjoy!
